Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 July 2026
Tresory helps you document your valuables. This policy explains what we store and how we handle it. This is a plain-language draft — have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it for a real launch.
What we collect
- Account: your email, name, and a securely hashed password.
- Your collection: the item details you enter — descriptions, serial numbers, values, photos, receipts, and any provenance or proof-of-ownership documents.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service (e.g. request logs).
How we use it
- To provide the registry, protection score, reports, and recovery features.
- To secure your account and communicate about it (e.g. password resets).
- We do not sell your data.
Storage & security
Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database and encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Access is scoped to your account.
Your rights
- Access & export: you can export your full collection at any time.
- Deletion: deleting your account permanently removes your data.
